DHC "Single Strand" Interconnect (LOD, mini-mini, mini-RCA too!)

One price, one cable, for all of your hookups.  The Single Strand interconnect features all the innovations that make the Molecule our most beloved, best-selling headphone cable.  The "Single Strand" features our best ingredients - our custom "Nucleotide" finely-stranded OCC copper wire (the most pure and conductive copper we know of) for beautiful detail, our custom black aluminum mini plugs or Neutrik gold RCAs for a great connection, and careful hand-construction to your specifications. 

This cable will extract the best possible performance from the most unlikely of places.  We use these cables in the car, on the plane, at work - no matter what the combination of gear, the sound is much more clear and enjoyable with better definition and impact.  And because of the size and customizability of the Single Strand, there's no excuse not to take it anywhere you go!

We now offer the Single Strand with our famous "Ultra" dual layer styles.  If you want an incredible-looking cable with styling as good as the sound, we have an Ultra style for every day of the month, with a vast array of different textures, colors, and special effects to make your cable one of a kind.  There is one price - $35 for up to a 3-foot cable.    Here is an example of what to expect with the ultra-styled Single Strand with an unnamed new style (white fiberglass + clear Teflon):

We have a very special Ultra style available for mini-RCA cables and mini-mini cables only.  There is a 2-foot maximum length on this style but the same pricing applies ($35)  This is a style that can only be found here, that nobody else has attempted, which will shock anyone who sees it - we call it "Stealth".  We start by making the cable perfectly round using a layer of conventional Techflex.  Next, we cover the cable with real black carbon fiber featuring a flawless woven pattern.  Finally, we finish the carbon fiber and protect it with a layer of clear PVC shrink to preserve the beautiful look of the carbon fiber.  The cable is still fairly flexible but is quite springy so use a silicone band to hold your stacked portable components together if you are using this cable with them.  This style makes for one heck of an iPod LOD, too!

  

The Single Strand can be had for iBasso-iBasso 6 pin balanced cables, or iBasso to SR71, or iBasso to single-ended.  As these connectors are very expensive and incredibly difficult to solder and finish properly, there is an upcharge for balanced portable cables.  We use a Single Strand iBasso balanced interconnect for our reference portable setup and the sound is world-class.
